Fraser Island is an ecological masterpiece! Geologically built from almost pure silica it miraculously sustains a rainforest wilderness so prolific that its timber yield almost single-handedly constructed the original Panama Canal. Now, as a World Heritage listed island, its wealth of natural capital and biological diversity continues to attract travellers from all over the world- and rightly so!

In two days we discover Fraser Island's best: Central Station with its 40 metre stand of eucalypt rainforest; fast flowing Eli Creek in which you can float from the forest to the beach; unspeakably beautiful perched Lake Birrabeen with sand so fine you can polish your jewelry; Fraser Island’s deepest, Lake Wabby, trapped in a sand valley by the immense Hammerstone Sandblow; the Pinnacles, a vertical cliff of coloured sand and nearby Rainbow Gorge with mythical Aboriginal connections; historic Maheno shipwreck; 75-mile beach which serving as Fraser Island’s unusual highway; and Wangoolba Creek, so pure it's invisible. You are likely, too, to see some of the abundant native wildlife including wild dingoes, wallabies, and many of three hundred species of birds: Bramhiny Kites, Peregrin Falcons, Kingfishers and Jabirus just to name a few.

Your accommodation has absolute beach frontage and a range of nearby facilities including swimming pools, bars and shops. Your evening buffet meals will be at the resort restaurant and your standard accommodation has it own ensuite and kitchen.
